Game rules in «English draughts» (Chekers)
The board 8õ8 grid is used.
Each player has 12 pieces in the starting position which occupy the first three rows from each side on dark squares.
The game target — to «capture» or «lock» (to deprive of the possibility to move) all opponent’s pieces.
Game course
Black pieces do the first move.
«Men» pieces can move on a diagonal on one square forward and capture only forward. The king can move forward and backward on one square on a diagonal and capture over one square in any direction.
It is necessary to capture. If there are several possible moves the player can select any. It shouldn’t be the longest one but it is necessary to move to the end.
