Game rules in «Giveaway draughts»
The board 8õ8 grid is used.
Each player has 12 pieces in the starting position — so-called «men» pieces which occupy the first three rows from each side.
The game target — all own pieces must be «captured» or «locked».
Game course
Pieces move on dark squares. They can occupy only free squares.
A «men» piece can move forward on a diagonal on one square and capture forward and backward (in this case the piece moves on a diagonal on two squares jumping over a piece or the king of the opponent which is removed from the board; if it is possible to capture another opponent’s piece from a new position the move proceeds etc).
When reaching a kings row (any square of the last horizontal) or when capturing over a kings row a «men» piece becomes a king and continues to capture by rules of the king (now it can move on any number of squares on a diagonal in any direction).
It is possible to capture the opponent’s piece only once during one move (a rule of «Turkish strike»). According to this rule in case of the capture of several opponent’s pieces, a piece or the king repeatedly moves on already captured piece then the move is stopped.
The opponent’s captured pieces are removed from the board only after the end of the move.
A player is obliged to capture the opponent’s piece during his move if he has such a possibility but at several variants of the capturing the player is free to select any.
Move skipping is not admitted.
