Game rules in «Ordered King»

Every player must play a certain number of games (contracts) in any sequence in a game «Ordered King».

32 cards deck is used in the game: from an Ace up to 7 of each suit.

The sequence of the contract order and the right of the first lead passes from a player to a player clockwise. Bidding is absent. The right of the first lead belongs to the player made an order.

10 cards are dealt to every player. Two cards are put in a talon.

A player at the first hand chooses the contract from the games not played yet, takes a talon and drops 2 cards. (In some contracts it is impossible to take down certain cards – it will be described further).

Players make leads clockwise by turns. Rules for the tricks are usual, that is a trick is taken by a player who placed higher card or a trump if the contract assumes a trump.

Trump games in the King are positive games (otygryshes).

The following lead is made by the player who took the previous trick. Following the game results the points are recorded to players. The game goes on until all players play all number of contracts. After that the final counting of points is made.

Contract kinds in a game «Ordered King»

All games in the King are of two kinds: positive and negative.

Negative hands are games when it is necessary to try to avoid taking certain tricks (according to the rules of a certain contract).

Every player must order each game one time from the given list:

1 Not to take tricks Try to take tricks as less as possible. Total points in the game: - 40
-4 points for each trick.
2 Not to take hearts Try not to take cards of hearts suit. It is impossible to lead a heart if there are cards of other suits. It is impossible to drop hearts. Total points in the game: - 40
-5 points for each heart trick.
3 Not to take boys Try not to take «boys». Boys are considered and agreed either Jacks or Jacks and Kings. It is impossible to drop boys and kings according to the agreed conventions. Total points in the game: - 40
Depending on the conventions what to consider as «boys»:
-10 for each Jack
or
-5 for each King or Jack
4 Not to take Queens Try not to take Queens. It is impossible to drop Queens. Total points in the game: - 40
-10 for each Queen
5 Not to take two last tricks Try not to take next-to-last and last tricks. It is possible to drop any cards. Total points in the game: - 40
-20 points for next-to-last and last tricks
6 Not to take King King – a king of hearts. It is impossible to lead a heart while there are cards of other suits. It is impossible to drop hearts. Total points in the game: - 40 for King
7 Eralash (not to take anything) All minus games are counted. It is necessary to try not to take tricks, «boys», Queens, the hearts, two last cards and King. It is impossible to drop hearts, boys and Queens. Total points in the game: - 240
Minus points are in according to the cost of a separate contract.

Positive hands (otygrysh) are games where it is necessary to try to gain tricks as many as possible. Each player must order three plus games (otygryshes).

8 To take tricks (otygrysh) Try to take tricks as many as possible. A player who ordered the game calls a trump. It is possible to play without trumps. Any card can be dropped. Total points in the game: + 160
+16 for each trick.
