Two players play in Yahtzee. Five dice and a table with 12 possible combinations are used for the game. Players throwing the dice after completing every turn fill in lines with combinations in the table.
Each player in his turn rolls the dice. It is possible to do from one to three rolls within one round. The purpose of rolls is to get a certain combination in order to record the line of the table in the most favourable way. In total a player can do 12 rounds: three rolls per each round.
The first time a player rolls all five dice. After the first roll the player can put aside some dice and roll the remained. After the second roll it is possible to select again which dice to roll and which to put aside and do the third roll. Herewith it doesn’t matter what dice were put aside after the first roll. It is possible to select from all five dice.
After the player made a combination or roll dice three times he decides in what table line to record the gained combination. From this depends how many points he will get for a round. The player should record the gained combination in the table even if he has to record 0 points. Further the turn passes to the opponent.
