The Time Control for Heads Up games

Three schemes of the time control are determined on a game server «FP CLUB» for such games as the backgammon, deberts, belote, chess and draughts:

  1. The game limit — the limit of time which is given to players for the whole game (party, a match) irrespective of the moves number which will be made.

  2. Bronstein's control — the scheme with the time return after a move. The limit on a game and a certain small «returned time» is arranged. At every switching of clocks after a move the time of the clock of the player who made a move, is returned back but not further than to the previous indications (that is the clock hand can not be returned on the further position than it was before this very move).

  3. Fisher's control — the control with time addition on every move and summing up. The general time limit is determined for a game and a certain small time is added to the player’s limit after his every move. Thus if a move is done within time which is smaller of the added time then the limit will increase, and on the contrary, if it will grow then to decrease. Doing moves quickly the player creates a «stock» of time which he can spend at any moment.
