Regulations ¹3 of backgammon tournaments carrying out (a match)
The scheme of the tournament carrying out
- A tournament is held according to the Olympic system.
- A tournament has a restriction on a maximum quantity of players (16, 32, 64, 128....)
- A tournament will be held if 75 % from maximum quantity of players are registered.
- Players who don’t have opponents in the first round pass in the following round automatically.
Game conventions and points counting for different kinds of games
Points counting:
- for the victory 1 point;
- for the defeat 0 points.

Up to the semi-final including:
- The match is up to – 5;
- Time for a match - 25 minutes;
- Gammon, backgammon – yes;
- Doubling - yes.
Final:
- The match is up to – 9;
- Time for a match - 45 minutes;
- Gammon, backgammon - yes;
- Doubling - yes.

Narde:
Up to the semi-final including:
- The match is up to – 3;
- Time for a match - 22 minutes;
- Mars – yes.
Final:
- The match is up to – 5;
- Time for a match - 40 minutes;
- Mars – yes.

Positions definition
- A player won in the Final wins 1 position.
- A player lost in the Final wins 2 position.
- Players left the tournament at earlier stages but still found themselves in the pool of prizes get positions: 3-4, 5-8, 9-16 etc.
Collusion
Players’ behaviour rules in all tournaments are regulated by Principles offair play.
Emergency end of a tournament
- If 50% (or more) of the planned rounds are played then the prize pool allocation takes place according to the gained positions.
- If less than 50% of the planned rounds are played then the return of depositions to all tournament players starts.
- At an emergency stop of a tournament the prize allocation or returning of deposits to players’ accounts is made within 24 hours.
The «FP CLUB» administration keeps the right to make changes in the currant Regulations at any time. Changes come into force from the moment of publication.
